I'm Felicia
Hello!
I was born and raised in Utah but spent my childhood road tripping across the country. I deal with a lot of anxiety and photography became the outlet that helped me make sense of the world.
My Early Photo History
.
I spent my childhood scouring my parent's massive National Geographic collection. I had a goal to work for the Nat Geo as a photojournalist. In college, I ended up with a degree in Anthropology, got married and photography was put on the backburner.
A Wandering Path
.
In my professional career, photography has always been in the background. I worked 4 years at a camera store, eventually ending in the accounting department. I worked as a photographer for a small local children's clothing company on the side.
Conservation
.
In my thirties, I moved next to Utah Lake. This body of water inspired me to develop my interest in the environment by photographing it's many moods. My time spent there has inspired me to talk more about how we as humans interact with the world around us.
